Is an idiot.

You do realize you just destroyed our only alliance and put us up against a near endless army of zombies empowered by the avatar of war? What did it accomplish? Clearing your minds of helping Noxus? Yeah, Noxus does bad things and will probably continue that. Besides this just proves we ARE under Noxian influence since all of their actions effect what we do.

CONGRATULATIONS, you just truly made it a 3v1. Thank YOU, for screwing us over just because you can't deal with the thought that Bilge may be a bit evil. We are a faction of merchants, fish, and pirates, not priests who need to eradicate all the evil of the world.

I made a thread a while back saying that we were becoming a new Demacia with how 'Good' our choices are, and what do you we finally did do what Demacia would have.

Your posts have all been quite hostile to the other side.

I rest my case.

And I absolutely love how everyone is jumping to the conclusion that people are doing this because of Noxus. Instead of. You know. There is an avatar of war on the playing field. And I wouldn't vote this way otherwise.

Also it's NOT a 3v1! SI has Frel and Ionia to deal with too. It's more 2v1v1 like a certain other arc. Which this is rapidly becoming.

It won't be easy fighting Aatrox. But dammit easy isn't fun or helpful in the long run. So we're fighting chaotic evil. Therefore we must be losing our touch.

I thought this was a fun little thing with roleplaying and rostered matches. But I can barely find any matches and when I roleplay I get a kickback that I can't convince myself is another character. I really feel like it's the people attacking ME not a character fight. And it's just gotten worse as I've gotten irritated and saying dumb things. Just... I'll stop before I get myself in real trouble.

This whole vote has made everone lose whatever levity and calmness we had. This isn't even fun trying to defend a position. Playing a role is getting nothing but trouble. I get this air from every faction that this whole island has ben a disaster. There's no jokes to be made from this. And our two option hurt us badly either way. Si is feeling the same way. Pardon me, don't worry about my votes hereon out. I'm sitting out the rest of this arc.

Edit: I'm tired and salty. Give me a day.

I said from the start that this entire island was a sticky situation that every party not involved needed to just stay the hell away from.

Oh well. At least SI can expand its army with some Ionian corpses.

No, SI destroyed any alliance possibility with their decisions, not us.

No, at present we aren't 3vs1, but 1vs1vs1+[whatever Freljord randomly decides] and maybe this can become a 3vsSI given the state of things.

You shouldn't apologize for sharing your feelings on the matter.

In both Shon-Xan and Hextech Revolution, there was way too much salt. I really don't want that to happen here. Salt at staff is unfair, but not the worst thing. Salt at each other makes me really sad. Come on. This is a pretendy funtime game. Enjoy it, get into it, but at the end of the day recognize that we're all in this to have exciting Runeterran adventures and play our (sometimes campy/cartoony) characters.

There's no real reason to be angry guys, at the end of the day it's all for fun you know? So the alliance fell flat, in the end it may have done so anyway. Other summoners simply didn't want to side with the SI (And that's totally okay.) Heck, even I was reluctant and was only pushing for it because Ionia and Friel seemed to have it out for us. (But maybe this can change that.)

So we'll just have to think of something else. We got most of Nyroth on our side, and if they get really hostile (Like around Ionia levels) then we might consider building some barracks to hold some military. (More mercs!)

In the end, Aatrox was a game changer, it's why our support of the first fight was rather limited to begin with.

I think a lot of us in Bilge have been trying to fight an identity to fight for. I mean that's some of the appeal of bilge you know? Demacia and Noxus, Zaun and Piltover, they all have some pretty well known personalities connected to them. In order for Biglewater to ever really become a big deal, we have to step away from the one identity we've had. Pirates.

So everyone just calm down and turn your eyes towards the future, becuase that's what really matters. :D

That's a good point. Bilgewater is exceptionally free to define itself.

Gotta agree with Cupcake on this one, it's a game. And nothing turns people away from a game faster than having the other players getting pissed at them over things.

I mean, we all play League, we all know how a ragey teammate or enemy can ruin a good time. Let's not let that happen here. It's way more fun when we're all pretending to be pirates/mermaids and sending our giant tree man to get high on pixie dust.

I think it's a good idea for us to start using a reverse version of the Adventure thread's method of distinguishing when things get more in-universe, which is double parentheses for out of character comments. As such, the in character section of this post will be in dblparens.

(("Okay. Stick with the plan. What's done is done, and we've got to move forward. So I decided not to participate in the bombardment. So I had the Last Joke pull out early. Sue me. But we have to figure out what we're gonna do from here on out. Are we gonna try and smooth over things with the Shadow Isles? Are we gonna try and ally with...*sighs* the Freljord? I'm sure you all know what my position is, but at the end of the day, we have to discuss this in a way that helps us move forward."

OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN, I really hope this goes well. I don't want to punished...Failure in SpecOps is NOT treated lightly...I have to fix this. I have to fix this, I don't want... Dammit dammit dammit dammit...))

Janus is SCARED, everyone. This is a disaster for his/our plans, and when he gets back to Zaun, he will not be received well by his superiors. However, he wants to try and fix things in a way that won't break Bilgewater. We need to make smart moves from now on. Politically, we're in a precarious position as we all try to pull one way or another, and something needs to happen to get us on track.

I think when it all comes down to it, we might have to cut ties with SI. there's no point in trying ot have an alliance with a warmonger while trying to keep our other side open to the rest of the world. With a more peaceful SI, maybe. But as some of them have said they've had enough of peace, and are embracing the Hec/Morde part of the SI.

We just stop being hateful towards people. We might not get more allies, but maybe we can get buy with less enemies.

You know, perhaps I personally have been unreasonably salty of this, but I've had some time to calm down now.
However, I think what maddens me more than the decision, is the fact that the majority that picked it didn't communicate that. We can't do much if we can't all communicate. I know that a fair amount of people use Raidcall to talk, and that's fine. Regardless, PLEASE come onto the forums for those that don't want/can't have RC on the majority of the time, as the forums are messages of text that can be read anytime, whereas RC chat can't necessarily be communicated to everyone that wasn't there. In short, just try to communicate a little better with us. This was a disaster for everyone in one way or another. Let's talk this stuff out a bit more beforehand.

Looking over the thread, there were in fact three people who said they would defend the Krolyceans: Blackrose02, Jpdaniel and myself.

I'm not sure what else you wanted us to say. We value the lives of the Krolyceans over an alliance with the Shadow Isles. It's not a complicated dilemma.

Honestly if SI had chosen to just take over the Island instead of KILLING EVERYONE the alliance would have been fine. I know they were saying that they were going to go into the more aggressive route with military and that's fine but it was being said that we were really 50/50 on whether or not to stop them if they began to kill everything. They didn't really gain anything from killing off everything except a few more military units.

Now they've basically PO'ed everyone (Including the league.) and their mad that we didn't support them on it. We also didn't completely pull out all the stops to try to stop them either. We just threw out a few cannon balls, which didn't even effect how they did in the battle anyways. They weren't offering enough to us to make it worth pissing off everyone being helping them slaughter all the things.

Alright, I'm a bit sorry for the blowup. It just seemed under-communicated at the time of the poll. What's past is past, and nothing I say now will change our actions then (maybe just how they were viewed, but I'm not gonna make an entire propaganda campaign out of that, that would be silly).

So, looks like SI is mad. But I also like your reasoning here Soda in that we weren't pulling everything we had to oppose them either (although towards the end there were a LOT more voting for military too). I'll admit I'm also sad at this path they have chosen, but I can understand that they were getting frustrated with trying to be less evil and be met with failure at every island; desperation is a powerful motivator.

I was perfectly fine with letting the SI have the island, after all, they did in it fair and square(though admittedly they did have Aatrox's help), and then the SI decided to start going zombie apocalypse. If they didn't decide to do that, then I would have been fine leaving them alone. But they didn't, and then we had to try being heroic without being stupid. I do believe that Cupcake said that one of the reasons that Hextech turned out like it did was because Demacia was wayyy to focused on being "Heroic", so I just voted for what I thought would be heroic without being stupid.
