Hi, we can't add any threads to the Noxus-Piltover or Noxus-Shurima areas. Is this intentional?

The plan for it so far has been to have delegates be able to post in it! But it's still up for debate. Do you guys think we should open them up?

I think maybe a few threads should open up and be open to the public, such as a general discussion thread. Then after that we should have new topics for each lore event and whatever the diplomats want to open up.

Delegates should be the only ones able to start threads (ideally during Lore Events) but everyone should be able to contribute to the discussion (and by contribute I mean actually try to make arguments and not just BM the other faction)

I think everyone should be able to make a thread, not just delegates.

I don't like the idea of everyone being able to start a thread. Seems like there will be a bunch of pointless posts to be made, some which would probably be borderline annoying. We need to keep it to talk about allegiances/strategy, not make posts about a trash talk thread about the other faction (which I can see happening a lot more if anyone was able to post).

I reserve the right to be loudly opinionated on subjects I am completely ignorant of

I think that having difficulty communicating with other factions adds an element to the whole arc experience. I mean, it would be hard for (eg) Noxus and Shurima to have much diplomatic communications after Noxus sent all those legions to Shurima (pretty sure that's the current story for this arc). I'm not saying to completely not allow the factions to talk with each other on the forums, but I think having it be somewhat limited makes it more realistic.

For "official diplomacy boards", I think there's actually a lot of sense to limiting it to delegates. Part of the idea of an executive like that is that they can speak for the faction. It's weird when other parts of the faction jump into the conversation. (Like that letter from Congress a while ago.)

That said, I think there would also be value in separate threads open to all. If only to document what the back-and-forth between particular factions was like during the arc.

I think we could make a subforum for each one named Unofficial Diplomacy, or something like that, and let everyone from each faction post there. Would be less prominent, and rightfully so, but would allow communication/allow the communication that already goes on to be documented. But that's just an idea.
