My current plan is to use these FMs as basically stand-ins for World Systems rolls. So if Shurima wants to attack Noxus, I would be very much down for that. That's easy to explain. Maybe we could split the difference and say Shurima wants to "liberate" some of the Noxian/Zaunite operation and sell it back to the megacorps at marked-up prices? |

I don't really want to bother Zaun at the moment. If they choose to see our conflict with Noxus as a problem, we can't do anything about it. But for now, I want to focus on milking Noxus and Piltover for as much cash as we can get. Empires are built on money. Hahaha... I just thought of a great idea. We can't capture the mines. We can capture the area around the mines, forcing a tax on whatever passes through our territory. Edited by Geomancer93041, Jul 16 2015, 10:46 AM.

Or before they call in an Airstrike with their Space Armada and Laser Artillery and laugh at our pathetic attempts at blockading what belongs to them, or just calling the Institute and saying 'hey, the Shurimans aren't respecting our right to the Pyrikhos Mines' and suddenly we have giant golems, elemental forces and summoners to ensure our 'Compliance' |

We've GOT to have GOLD
|
"Man, being rich and in a spacecraft is awesome." "Totally, look at shurima down there, bout to get nuked. Ahh, glad we finally made it back in arc 10, never thought they'd let us back after Hextech." "Yeah, but being against the Darkin, Shurima, and Ionia is tough, especially after the reworks." "Look, just be glad the Darkin stole Sona from Ionia. Gave our botlane a much better chance." "Yup. One more arc and we'll control all of valoran. Drop the nukes, Kuro." ... ... "Hey, Xalk. That glint of light isn't a nuke." "Yeah, what... is tha-" A fiery beam of light pierces the ship from the sun, throwing every summoner on board into space, killing everyone. Back in Shurima: "PRAISE THE SUN!"Summoners in unison: "ALL HAIL EMPRESS LEONA, SAVIOR OF VALORAN, QUEEN OF THE VOID." Edited by Jpdaniel, Jul 22 2015, 08:07 PM.

Winter's Claw for Life.

Unless I'm not understanding correctly, or the Valoranian solar system is VASTLY different from ours... approximately 93 million miles. Although, knowing the speed of light, and the channel time being only about a second, second and a half... would put their sun only 190,000 to 300,000 miles away instead. Toasty. |

I think it isn't the sun actually shooting a beam and more Leona invoking the power of the stun. Still, between the Sun Disc and Leona's power, I think they could fight off an airborne armada. Regardless, I don't want to get in a fight. It was just an idea. Once Zaun is done with the mine, would it mind handing it over? |

I don't think that's out of the question, after Zaun takes what they want out of the mines there's not a lot of purpose in keeping soldiers over there and using resources to hold land with little value in the long term (unless some private corporation decides it wants a Black Ops storage/training facility in the desert but I doubt it) I think it'd be fair if Shurima could buy back mines when the Pyrikhos dries up. That's not to say Shurima should have to pay Zaun for their land but knowing Zaun, that's a likely possibility. Hm... maybe a few Featured Match Sets next intermission to find out what happens when the mines are all dried up? Edited by Kaynunot, Jul 23 2015, 01:12 PM.

That might be interesting. The reason I want the mines is less for utility and more for a better image of a wholly unified Shurima, you know what I mean? |
