Lionel ran towards the chainlink fence, rain beating down around him. It'd all been going so well. He'd spent the last couple of moths trailing around Runeterra asking so called experts on the void about the Lens of the Void that the group of Summoners had recovered from Zaun. Eventually he'd found a professor in Piltover who'd pointed him to the temple in Icathia where the eye had been forged. Better still, it was on the outskirts meaning that he wouldn't have to deal with the horrors that lay deep in the ancient city. Sitting down in his room in one of Piltovers lesser establishments he'd began to relax for the night. As he was drifting off into sleep he chanced to look over to the huge mirror at the end of his room. Lionel's eyes widened in shock as he saw a hulking masked figure reaching for him. Rolling out of bed he lunged for the door, but the figure grabbed him and threw him to the other side of the room. Cursing, Lionel reached for his absent sword. He'd left his sword and his armour on the ship he'd used to get to Piltover in an attempt to be incognito. Looking at the figure Lionel decided that fleeing was his best option. Running towards his rooms window he lept at it, and with a flash of light, appeared in the street below. Sprinting, Lionel made it to a disused warehouse at the end of the street. Climing up the stairbase to the top of the warehouse, he snatched up the breatplate and knife that he'd stashed for an event such as this. Looking out of a grimy window he caught a glimpse of the figure following him into the warehouse. So be it, the breastplate and knife wasn't the only thing that he'd hidden. Snatching up a small crystal he replicated his trick, flashing down into the yard below. Looking up he sees the figure looking down at him. The figure begins to raise it's hand and Lionel crushes the crystal in his fist. The resulting expolsion did a good job of blowing apart the top part of the warehouse. Wincing at the ringing sound in his ears, Lionel trudged away. He knew the assassin by reputation alone, so he reckoned he'd earned hmself a few minutes maximum. Just enough time to get to his boat and sail back to Demacia. Lionel reflected that enough was enough. He'd had to endure several assasination attempted over the past couple of months, and it was time to put the matter to bed. He'd have to assemble a team of Summoners to help him however. That could lead to it's own complications. Shrugging Lionel made his way to the quay. Better to deal with an infestation of Summoners than an arrow through the heart. |

A particularly tactical and affluent Void-Yordle

It appears so. Unfortunately, the original Passage had a case of the dies, so starting it up again with whoever the run-away mage is would be pretty great. |
